Water Project 2012
At Naalarami every drop of water counts.
Every year in Africa is hard, this year its worse! The lake on the right was held back by a dam wall, the rains this winter broke the wall and the picture on the right is as of May. By now even the puddles are gone.
The school is down to its last water butts of water and by August all the water will be gone.
If you can give even the smallest amount it will change lives in this tiny school in Africa. For every pound you give you supply 10 litres this and every year, the more you give the more good you do.
With 400 children in the school our plan is to ensure that each child has water all year round.
At the moment the water is often gone from August to November.
Our plan is to supplement the existing 4 rainwater collection tubs aiming for 10 initially then doubling that capacity to 20.
With 20 there will be no problem at the school again and every child will have water all year round.
Imagine that! Please help and donate.

We are so very impressed with Finn Smith and David French for running 5km and raising over £550.
They did so well! See photo's below. So good seeing the dedication of these two 10 year olds
and the work they put in was fabulous! Well done and thank you both.
TIME LINE OF PROGRESS AND FUND RAISING.
Finn's mum said,"I am so proud of them already, they have put so much work in, Finn even stood up at assembly and explained what he was doing and that he had organised it and all the teachers have sponsored them!"
