Our Son Paul visited Tanzania in his 2010 gap year. There he met a remarkable couple, 'Ron and Beanie.
Their story is amazing.
They were begged by the local Maasai people to build them a school.
Despite their protestations, they finally agreed to help the Maasai build their own school.

There are currently 5 classrooms. There are 7 classes of upto 70 children.

The school does very well with the resources it has and the children all enjoy coming and get excellent grades. However the resources are almost non existent. This is the equipment the school keeps for resources.

Paul asked us to come out and see where he has been staying.
We went, taking 3 suitcases of pens pencils stationery. The response was beyond words.

Paul decided to build another classroom and set a £5000 fundraising target. He then climbed the worlds highest freestanding mountain to support it!

Ron in his 4x4. The drive to the school is 2 hours into nowhere!
