LOTTERY SUCCESS
We received one of the best Christmas presents and it arrived early, a successful lottery bid.
Cottenham Roller Hockey Club is now able to purchase all our own equipment, hockey sticks and balls, protective knee pads, gloves and shin pads, a goalie ‘kit’ and our first team strip.
We have been very fortunate to have been donated folding Roller Hockey goals from Borley Brothers General Engineering.
Financial support has also been forthcoming both from within the village: Cottenham Newsletter, Cambridge Building Society, Accioevents, and Marshall’s of Cambridge.
We are always looking for new players. We are affiliated to the National Roller Hockey Association and play two teams in the Eastern Counties League. Our players are boys and girls aged between 7 and 13.
If you are interested in joining us we train on Thursday’s in the Sports Hall at Cottenham Village College. You are able to either play on a casual basis or join the Club to play in the league.
